Student

- Must be a student pursuing a course related to Workplace Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, or any related field. Must provide proof of current enrollment in a recognized institution (e.g., student ID or admission letter). Must demonstrate an interest in workplace safety and professional development.
Graduate

/Year
- No work experience required
- Must have a diploma, degree, or higher with additional OSH qualifications (MSc. OSH, Post-Grad OSH, NEBOSH Dip/IGC, or approved equivalent).
- Registration upon application and payment of Ksh 1,500 annually.
- Can vote in general elections but not in constitutional reviews.
- Eligible to join sub-committees but not the council.
- Registration numbers will include the initial ‘G’.
Associate
Join the ranks of experienced OSH as an Associate Member
Kshs.3000
/Year
- Fee: Ksh 3,000 annually.
- Minimum of 5 years OSH field experience.
- Degree holders with additional OSH qualifications and 3 years relevant experience also eligible.
- Eligible to join association committees and councils, except for President, Vice-President, and Secretary-General.
- Registration numbers will include the initial ‘A’.
Professional
Lead and represent OSH professionals as a Professional Member.
Kshs.5000
/year
- Must have been a member in a lower category for at least one year.
- Degree in OSH or related field with 7+ years of experience, or a degree in any field with OSH qualifications and 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Diploma holders with OSH qualifications need 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience validated by the membership committee.
- Registration numbers will include the initial ‘P’.
- Can facilitate local seminars and conferences.
- Eligible for election as President, Vice-President, or Secretary-General.
- Can be nominated to represent the association in national matters.
- Can be nominated to represent the association in national matters.
Fellow

Kshs.10000
/Year
- Must meet the qualifications of a Professional Member.
- Must have 3+ years of experience as a Professional Member.
- Must have mentored at least 3 Associate Members to become Professional Members.
- Requires passing an interview by an ad-hoc committee.
- Eligible to join sub-committees but not the council.
- Must contribute to the body of knowledge through a publication or equivalent.
- Additional safety training required to increase capacity.
- Right to vote in general elections and constitutional reviews, plus all other lower member privileges.
- Privilege of a second vote to break ties in decision-making.
Corporate

- Legally registered businesses can apply for membership with required documents.
- Corporate members are categorized as Consulting (CCM) or Affiliate (ACM) based on business type.
- Annual fee: Ksh 15,000.
- Advertisements in the society’s forum billed as per the communication committee's rules.
- Right to attend events and advertise services as sponsors upon approval and fee payment.
- Eligible for recognition audits and safety awards in line with society programs.
- Entitled to free safety and health publications from the Society.
