Professional members

Must have been a member of the association for at least one year in a lower category
b) Any person with a degree or higher in occupational health and safety or related
fields as approved by the membership committee with minimum experience of
Seven (7) years
c) Any person with a degree in any field and additional OSH qualifications approved
by the council combined with relevant experience for a minimum of seven (7) years
d) Any person with a diploma in any field and additional OSH qualifications approved
by the council combined with relevant experience for a minimum of ten (10) years
e) Relevant experience shall be determined by the membership committee and shall
request for evidence to validate the experience.
f) Professional members shall pay an annual subscription fee of Kshs. 5,000
g) Shall have the initial ‘P’ within their registration numbers
h) Right to facilitate local seminars and conferences for the association
i) Enjoy the privilege of being elected as the President, vice president or secretary
general
j) Enjoy the privileges of being nominated to represent the association in matters of
national interest and discussions
k) Have a right to vote on matters of constitutional reviews
