Register as a Member
Ksh1000
Pay a registration fee of Ksh 1000 to become a registered member of WSPAK
Student members
Ksh1000
- Any person practicing Occupational safety and health and with a field experience of not less than 5 years.
- Any person with a degree in any field and additional OSH qualifications approved
- Have a right to join various committees of the association and be elected in any of the councils other than the position of the President, Vice -president and the Secretary-General
- Associate members shall pay an annual subscription fee of Kshs. 3,000 Shall have the initial ‘A’ within their registration number
Associate members
Ksh3000
- Any person practicing Occupational safety and health and with a field experience of not less than 5 years.
- Any person with a degree in any field and additional OSH qualifications approved by the membership committee combined with relevant experience of not less than three (3) years.
- Have a right to join various committees of the association and be elected in any of the councils other than the position of the President, Vice -president and the Secretary-General
- Associate members shall pay an annual subscription fee of Kshs. 3,000
- Shall have the initial ‘A’ within their registration numbers.
Graduate
Ksh1500
- Any person with no working experience but has a diploma, degree, or higher in any field with additional qualifications in Occupational safety and health (MSc.OSH, post. Grad. Diploma in OSH or NEBOSH Dip/NEBOSH IGC) or any other as approved by the membership committee shall be admitted being a graduate member upon application and payment of registration fees.
- Graduate members shall pay an annual subscription fee of Kshs. 1500
- Graduate members shall have the right to participate in general elections but not in any constitutional review process.
- They can join other sub-committees as established by this constitution or by-laws but not the council
- Shall have the initial ‘G’ within their registration
Professional members
Ksh5000
- Must have been a member in the association for at least one year in a lower category
- Any person with a degree or higher in occupational health and safety or related fields as approved by the membership committee with minimum experience of Seven (7) years
- Any person with a degree in any field and additional OSH qualifications approved by the council combined with relevant experience for a minimum of seven (7) years
- Any person with a diploma in any field and additional OSH qualifications approved by the council combined with relevant experience for a minimum of ten (10) years
- Relevant experience shall be determined by the membership committee who shall request for evidence to validate experience.
- Professional members shall pay an annual subscription fee of Kshs. 5,000
- Shall have the initial ‘P’ within their registration numbers
- Right to facilitate local seminars and conferences for the association
- Enjoy the privilege of being elected as the President, vice president or secretary general
- Enjoy the privileges of being nominated to represent the association in matters of national interest and discussions
- Have a right to vote on matters of constitutional reviews
Fellow Members
Ksh10000
- Must have met the minimum qualifications of a professional member
- Must have practiced as a professional member for a minimum of three (3) years
- Must have mentored at least 3 associate members in the association to become professional members
- Must successfully undergo and pass an interview by an ad-hoc committee for admission into the fellow.

- Must have contributed to the body of knowledge with a publication or equivalent
- Must have undergone additional training/s in the field of safety to increase their capacity.
- A fellow member shall be required to pay an annual subscription fee of Kshs. 10,000
- Shall have the initial ‘F’ within their registration numbers
- A fellow member has a right to vote in a general election and constitutional review process besides all other privileges of the lower members.
- A fellow member shall have the right to train other cadres and to also present in international conferences as may be nominated.
- Fellow members have a right to nomination to be a Trustee of the Association.
- Fellows shall have the power to develop a training program and review courses for the association
- In cases where there is a tie in decision-making, fellow members shall have the the privilege of a second vote to unlock the tie.
Corporate members
Ksh15000
- Any legally registered business willing to be part of the association for mutual benefit shall apply for membership and submit all documents as required by the membership committee for verification
- A corporate member shall be divided into consulting and Affiliate (non-consulting). Consulting corporate members shall have unique abbreviation of CCM followed by the registration numbers while Affiliate corporate shall have unique abbreviation of ACM followed by the registration numbers.
- A corporate member shall be required to pay an annual subscription fee of Kshs. 15,000
- Advertisements in the societies forum shall be billed in accordance with the rules set out by the communication and publicity committee
- Any corporate member has a right to attend association events and advertise their services upon approval and payment of requisite fees as sponsors.
- Corporate Members shall be entitled to recognition audits and safety awards as per the program of the society.
- Corporate members shall be entitled to free safety and health publications and as may be issued by the Society
